CAPABILITY

Spirit of Challenge

To meet the needs of our customers and to solve social issues.
Kashikei will continue to take on endless challenges.

Kashikei will surely fulfill its mission of solving global issues by "contributing to the world in the fields of water and the environment," while the entire company will work together to achieve further growth. What is needed to achieve this is the ability to continue to "take on challenges" in an autonomous manner. We must think and act independently, and carry through to the end. We value the enthusiasm to continue to take on challenges without fear of failure, even in unprecedented tasks. In order to solve problems through manufacturing, it is important to be interested in social trends and to think from a broad perspective; along with IT and production technologies, communication skills, expressive ability, and writing ability are also required to understand client and user requirements and to work as a team. To acquire these skills, Cassidy will help you to develop your own skills. To acquire these skills, Kashikei employees study and study every day. Everything we do is to meet the needs of our customers and to solve social issues. Kashikei will continue to take on endless challenges.

Words from a young leader

It is very rewarding to have highly motivated staff working for me.

Yasutaka Asada
Manufacturing Department, Section Chief,
Yasutaka Asada,12 years with the company

I am now in my 12th year with the company, and as a leader of more than 20 staff members in the Water Distribution Department, I am responsible for ensuring that the entire process, from water flow testing to assembly and shipment, is proceeding without delay.
When I first joined the company, I was assigned to the sales department to understand the needs of customers who use water meters before being transferred to my current department. Through my experience in sales, I have come to realize the weight of responsibility for manufacturing water meters, a device that plays a fundamental role in people's lives, and I feel that I am now able to look at manufacturing from a broader perspective.
In my recent work, I was in charge of building a network that enables remote monitoring by connecting water flow testing machines to a wireless LAN in order to build an IoT-enabled production line.
In order to make water flow testing more accurate and speedy, I am constantly striving to introduce the latest technology in the most appropriate form, while receiving advice from a professor in the university's engineering department. It is very rewarding to know that my work has made production more efficient and motivated our staff to work harder.
